Sunset Lodge is our three-bedroom luxury self-catering wooden holiday home, with over 180 degrees far reaching views over the rolling hills of Wiltshire.
This smaller luxury holiday lodge, sits beside Sunrise lodge and replaces the former award-winning holiday accommodation here at Rew Farm. Lovingly renovated throughout by Mark and Nicola during the Winter of 2020 to Spring 2021. Advertised as a four-person accommodation due to the smaller size of the bedrooms. However, we could possibly squeeze an extra guest or two! (Please contact us regarding extra guests.)
Enjoy rabbit activity with an early morning coffee on the small or large patio accompanied by our resident horses and donkeys in the field just metres away. The larger patio area has comfortable chairs for relaxing and separate dining table. Wrap up with your snuggly throws by the fire pit to watch the shooting stars with very little light pollution in the village. The smaller patio has comfortable bistro table and chairs, a perfect spot for sitting with a glass of wine and your favourite book. If you are unfortunate to experience wet weather, there is a small undercover area that can be used to sit under or store bikes, canoes or any other items that need to stay dry. Alongside your private parking area is a small patch of grass which can be used to pitch up a small tent if you wanted to bring one to sleep under the stars.
Relax in the West facing living area boasting far reaching views to the local area and beyond to Bath and Somerset. Aptly named Sunset Lodge, each sunset is unique and always a delight to see.
Beautifully decorated, with everything you need for a relaxing comfortable stay.The living area boasts incredible views, but in the unlikely event you should get bored from this, we offer Sky Q tv with cinema and sports channels. Record your favourite shows and watch when you return from your day out exploring. Free Wi-fi throughout the property so you can keep up to date with social media and streaming from any room in the lodge! Centrally heated throughout as well as a gas log effect fire and air conditioning in the main living area.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may possibly need for your time away including dishwasher, gas range hob, electric fan oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, Tassimo coffee machine even a slow cooker so you can prepare your food in the morning and enjoy your day out knowing your food will be ready on your return! Alternatively, there is a fire pit and bbq for cooking al-fresco.
Although the bedrooms are small, they are perfectly equipped with plenty of storage and wardrobe space.
The main bedroom has ample storage, double bed and aseparate en suite toilet. Relax in bed with a coffee and look out to the donkeys, happily grazing or playing together.
Rooms two and three are identical and mirror each other. Again, small but comfortable, each with two small single beds that can be joined to make up a small double bed. These bedrooms look out towards the drive and play area, where two lovely trees and hedges make a lovely spot for relaxing and watching the birds in bed.
All three rooms beautifully decorated and with the added comfort of cuddly throws and complimentary slippers.
We will always endeavour to accommodate your family’s needs by supplying a travel cot or adapting the two single beds to make doubles (at no extra cost), or indeed removing beds for extra space. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your requirements. We really are a family friendly property with everything you need for little ones including, highchair, travel cot, changing mat and plastic cutlery and crockery so you do not need to think about packing them.
